Responsible for the daily shift supervision, scheduling & execution of safe operations which includes truck loading/ off loading, tank farm operations, pipeline receipts, cylinder filling plant plants, Fleet management, LPG bulk dispatch, managing maintenance and contractor activities, emergency response and coordinating safe evacuation of LPG terminal staff etc.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Monitors and controls LPG terminal operation from Control Room using TAS, TGS, TMS, F&G, ESD, CCTV & control systems and shall responds to every mentioned system alarms if occurred. Records and reports any irregularities in above systems to Control Room Officer.
Analyses and records terminal operations data and maintaining all relevant logs and ensure that supply assistant records & maintain all shift stock movement report in shift log book.
Participate in developing, reviewing and improving exiting operational procedures for orientation, training and any MOC (i.e. modification in facilities, C&E or system logics) purposes.
Maintaining LPG tanks stock through Abu Dhabi refinery pipelines receipt and Ruwais refinery bulk receipt.
Responsible for bulk Dispatch Functions; Plan, execute and record all products (LPG, Propane & Butane) schedule as per sales/direct orders for collect & deliver customers in timely manner and ensure availability of fleet (i.e. ADNOC owned and contractor’s vehicles) for the same.
Supervises and controls LPG bulk loading operation in coordination with Supply Assistants as per SOP and WI.
Supervises and controls LPG offloading operation in coordination with Supply Assistants as per SOP and WI.
Supervises and controls LPG pipeline receipt operation in coordination with Supply Assistants as per SOP and WI.
Ensures strict compliance to HSSEMS, SOP, WI and ADNOC policies & procedures.
Coordinates with Supply assistant to ensure correct tanks / valve line up for product receipts and issues.
Prepares reports for product receipt and issues during the shift and supervises TMS / weigh bridge operations and record keeping.
Analyses VTS tankers movements, reporting and statistical data.
Prepare all relevant entries in ERP on daily basis (i.e. GRN, Work Requests, Material Requests, PTNs & PDNs all functions roles etc.).
Participates in reviewing JSA, TRA, Financial and Safety Audits etc.
Informs and coordinates with HSE staff to respond to F&G alarms or other emergency scenarios, wherever required.
Prepare work requests and follow-up with concern staff/contractors during any break down or maintenance or PM activity and to issue required PTW.
Maintain fleet record (i.e. integrity certificates, road permits, CICPA, registration & insurance renewal etc.) and managing ADNOC & contractor’s drivers and fleet as per operational requirements.
Responsible for immediately reporting all unsafe conditions, environmental incidents, unsafe behaviors, near-miss incidents or injuries during shift as per HSSEMS.
Responsible for accurate and timely processing of all reports including daily review of reconciliation reports, receipt documents for products and record keeping.
Investigates all inventory issues that are out of compliance with company standards and reports to Control Room Officer.
Assists Control Room Officer, to ensure all discrepancies are satisfactorily resolved in a timely manner.
Prepare overtime sheets and yearly leave schedule for HDD and control room staff.
Supervise and advise Supply Assistant during troubleshooting of LPG terminal operation, wherever necessary.
Assists and coordinates with Plant Supervisor/ Foreman for smooth start-up and normal operation of Cylinder Filling Plant during shift.
Ensure housekeeping and proper, smooth and trouble free shift change over along with Supply Assistant.
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.
Provide input for preparation of the Department / Section budgets and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Bachelor of Engineering or equivilent in Electical/ Electronics/ Insrumentation/ Chemical/ Control & Automation.
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
5 to 7 years experience in Oil & Gas Plant/ Terminal’s Control Room Operation (DCS, PLC, SCADA etc.).
