To provide technical leadership and commercial input on projects to design, implement and coordinate IT

Job Specific Accountabilities
Installs, upgrades and maintains operating servers, administrative tools utilities. Applies bug fixes,
Operating System (OS) patches to ensure smooth functioning of the operating system.
Track and analyze reports to determine improvements on business processes
Monitor unauthorized access to resources and files and take corrective actions.
Provides technical expertise and guidance to team members in the installation, upgrade and
configuration of Infrastructure Hardware, Central Equipment, operating systems, enterprise software,
workflow internet / intranet and other application software.
Receives business requirements, analyses work process, gathers data and analyses computer
hardware and software requirements. Implements the solution as finished projects ensuring that
solution completely meets business requirements.
Tests solutions to ensure appropriate functioning and prepares full documentation of the same for future
Monitors the on-line performance of servers, operating systems, enterprise software, and workflow
internet / intranet and enterprise security. Monitors conformance to set standards and fine tunes the
same to achieve optimal conditions at all times.
Carries out collection, analysis and reporting of operational data for use in maintenance, performance
tuning and capacity planning for future enhancements / upgrades.
Formulates server backup procedures and the contingency procedure for recovery of IT services related
to his field.
Formulates maintenance and support contracts, ensuring that all technical specifications are covered
and in the preparation in departmental budget to ensure that future requirements are catered to.
Devise techniques and procedures to achieve increased system availability, improved operational
efficiency, minimized error potential and maximized utilization of processing resources.
Assists System Administration and Network teams in identifying system/network bottlenecks and
applying corrective measures and in fine-tuning and optimizing the Operating System and Database.
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job
and deliver the respective section objectives.
Provide input for preparation of the Section / Department budgets and assist in the implementation of
the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Section objectives.
Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control

Implement approved Section / Department policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in
order to support execution of the Section’s / Department work programs in line with Company and

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Management or equivalent
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
6 years’ experience in IT security Operations and Implementation in IT organization or similar industry.
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English & Arabic
