Career development is an integral part of ADNOC Distribution Emiratisation policy.  It is a valuable growth opportunity for trainees of various educational backgrounds who want to successfully take on an approved target position in the company.

We define the trainees’ training and development needs in relation to the target position. Then, a suitable programme is designed and implemented through a standard Individual Development Plan (IDP) or, in some selected cases, through the Competence Assurance Management System (CAMS) programme. This ensures newly recruited trainees are exposed to real work situations and assessed on both technical and behavioural competencies required of their target position.

Typically, the development programme spans over two years, at the end of which the trainee is expected to have achieved the required skill level to take over the target position independently.
